The Maui Film Festival at Wailea just posted its 2008 schedule online. The event runs June 11th-15th with films and activities on tap throughout the Wailea Resort and the Maui Arts and Cultural Center. This year’s schedule includes a variety of feature films, short films and documentaries. Of course there are also a number of special events including the Opening Night Ceremonies, Panel of Film Makers, the Taste of Chocolate and Starry Night Moondance.
The new schedule comes on the heels of last week’s announcement on this year’s festival honorees. This year the festival will be honoring Felicity Huffman, Dennis Quaid, Pierce Brosnan and Virginia Madsen. Tickets for the event may be purchased online. This year looks like another great event. Barry Rivers and all the other staff and volunteers for the film festival always put on a great show.
