You are never far from the beach

As coastal communities, you are never far from the ocean and the beach when you live in Kahana, Napili, or Honokowai. Napili Bay is renowned for its golden sand and beautiful waters making it a favorite of visitors and residents alike. Kahana has Pohaku beach park for sand and surf. Families enjoy gathering under the shade trees at Honokowai Beach Park. Of course other great beaches are just a short drive away, including Kapalua Bay, Ka’anapali, Airport Beach, DT Fleming, and more.

Sandwiched between two renowned resorts

Nearby resort amenities Living in Napili, Kahana, or Honokowai means you are between two great resort communities in Kapalua and Ka’anapali. That means you are short drive from four golf courses, and numerous amenities. Luxury buyers will appreciate expanded oceanfront options, while still being close to resort amenities. More budget conscious buyers might appreciate the access to resort amenities without paying resort home prices.

Recreation

Fun in the sun

If your idea of fun in the sun is more active than sunbathing or a round of golf, there are many options in this corner of the island. There is a newly opened Mountain Bike Park in Napili, and the old Xterra trails in Kapalua. There are surf breaks along this stretch of coast when the winter surf starts to break. Nearby Honolua Bay is one of the best surf breaks in Hawaii. Tradewinds blowing through the area offer fun for foilers, kiters, and windsurfers. There is great snorkeling along this stretch of coast If you are part of the cult of pickleball, Napili Park has four dedicated courts. There is plenty to keep you busy in West Maui.

While there are limited oceanfront options within West Maui’s resort communities, you will find a broader selection in the Napili and Kahana area.
