Official October Maui Real Estate Statistics

I just wanted to follow up on my Unofficial October Maui Real Estate statistics post from last week. The Realtors Association of Maui posted their official stats for October. There were no big changes from what I posted earlier in the unofficial stats. It appears I must have added a couple of November closes on the condo side as I originally had 51 condo closes in the unofficial stats. The official stats show 48 closes. That is also the number that I got when I double checked the MLS personally. I went back to update the unofficial numbers. Other than this one error, there is not much else to add above and beyond the commentary I made in the unofficial stats post. There are a few things worth reiterating. Buyers, there are some opportunities on the market compared to recent comps. These opportunities aren’t always reflected in list prices. We have seen some closes well below list price, so don’t be afraid to make offers. Sellers need to be smart with their pricing to improve their odds for a successful sale.
