Typically, April is a big month for trade winds on Maui. Maui has seen some of this winds during the earlier parts of the month. Today, the winds trailed off leaving calm to sea breeze like conditions. Billy was on his way back from Haiku when he saw some late season whales splashing offshore. He pulled over at Ho’okipa Beach Park to see if he could catch the whales on video. He missed the whales, but the scenery alone was video worthy in it’s own right.
