The Maui Film Festival starts tonight with events happening in Wailea and at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center. Highlighting the nights events is the Celestial Cinema held on the Gold and Emerald golf courses in Wailea. Tonight’s features are “Peaceful Warrior” and “Leonard Cohen I’m Your Man”. The celestial cinema is a great opportunity to take in two great films in a beautiful setting under the stars and moon of a beautiful Maui night. The first film starts at 8:00 PM. Check out the film festival schedule of events for a complete overview of all of the different films and events on tap. The events run through Sunday. I hope to make it to a number of the different films this year. This is one of the highlights of the year on Maui’s cultural calendar.
