The Jim Sanders Office had the opportunity to help out with Habitat for Humanity this weekend. We worked on the future home of Earl and Lani Maielua in the Waiehou Kou subdivision. The Sanders team joined with Earl, his sons and friends to work on the foundation for the home. We were preparing for a forthcoming cement pour and moving dirt for the future driveway. It was hard work under a warm Maui sun. However, the team had smiles on their faces as we laughed at each other’s jokes and enjoyed the setting in the shadow of the soaring, green West Maui Mountains.
In the end we left tired, but satisfied with the opportunity to have helped a good family in the Maieluas. Habitat is such a great cause.
