Not too long ago, I posted that June was a big month of festivals on Maui. For lovers of fine food and wine, you won’t find a better event than the upcoming Kapalua Wine and Food Festival. The festival will be held June 11-14th. This epicurean’s delight is Hawaii’s longest running wine and food festival in its 28th year. For the sixth consecutive year Master Sommelier Fred Dame will be hosting the weekend’s activities. The festival features wine tastings, gourmet cooking demonstrations, wine seminars and a number of large scale parties. All of these great events are of course located in the stunning setting of the Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua Resort.

The resort is also offering special accommodations packages. This year’s Kapalua Wine and Food Festival looks like it will be another treat for the taste buds.
