Keokea Homes for Sale

The Keokea area of Kula exudes Upcountry charm. Hawaii Plantation Style Homes, rolling pastureland, small country stores, big views and beautiful trees help to set this corner of Maui apart. Located at an elevation between 2,500 and 3,500 feet, the area tends to get morning sun followed by afternoon cloud cover that helps to keep temperatures cooler. This elevation means crisp nights throughout most of the year. This community doesn’t have a town per say, but it does have a cute country store and Grandma’s Coffee House. Both places hearken back to a bygone era.

Keokea is a mix of larger agriculturally zoned properties with some smaller rural and residential zoned lots. Occasionally, some old Plantation style homes on smaller lots close to Kula Highway and up off of Middle Road come on the market. The large agricultural lots include some substantial estates with big ocean views and larger acreage. Prices on the lower priced properties tend to start around $750,000. Homes on two acres with ocean views tend to be priced from $1,500,000 to $2,000,000 with higher prices possible depending on finishing and size of the structures. There are also some big estate properties in the area that come on the market from time to time with sales prices well into the millions.
