Spreckelsville offers prime location
Located between Paia and Kahului, Spreckelsville residents have easy access to Paia’s shops, restaurants, and other amenities. Kahului is home to all the island’s big box stores, a Whole Foods, the University of Hawaii Maui College, and the Maui Arts and Cultural Center. Sprecks’ location in the center of the island means it’s never too far of a drive to head Upcountry, to South Maui Beaches, or even West Maui.
Access to beaches and water sports
Another strength of the community’s location is its prime position on the North Shore coastline. This stretch of coast is graced with winter waves and frequent tradewinds that make it an ideal playground for surfers, windsurfers, kiters, wing foiling, standup paddlers, and more. You don’t have to be venturing into big waves to enjoy local beaches. Baldwin is great for beach walks, and Baby Beach offers protected swimming and soaking thanks to a protective reef that blocks all but the biggest surf.

You don’t have to love ocean sports to live an active lifestyle in Spreckelsville. The Maui Country Club, located in the middle of the neighborhood, offers golf, pickleball, tennis, yoga, fitness classes, personal training, and water aerobics. Plenty of other fitness, yoga, and Pilates options are nearby in Paia and Kahului. The North Shore bike path runs through Sprecks, allowing people car-free options to get to Paia Town and Kahului. Many road cyclists call the community home and use it as an embarking point for rides going up Haleakala and along the North Shore.
A diverse range of luxury home options
Spreckelsville has several distinctive subdivisions within the neighborhood. Old Sprecks includes homes on Pa’ani, Laulea, Nonohe, and Kealakai. This area includes a mixture of older homes in the neighborhood from the 50s and some newer construction. Stable Road is located between the airport and the ocean. It is renowned in the water sports community for its beach access to world-class wind and water sports. Sprecks V is located between the Country Club and Hana Highway.
